“You cannot ignore this”- Tiwa Savage calls out Beyonce to join the endsars movement (Video)
Popular Nigerian Singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage has called out famous African singer Beyonce to join the #endsars movement.
The #endsars movement is a movement organised by Nigerian citizens who have had enough of the constant brutality from the Special Anti-robbery Squad known as SARS.
Tiwa Savage in a live session called out the Black is king crooner Beyonce to not ignore the #endsars movement going on in Nigeria.
According to Tiwa Savage, she claimed Nigerian creatives were there for her when she needed them to make the popular Black is king song and should not ignore them when they need her too.
The Nigerian singer further went ahead to reveal she does not mind getting bashed and blacklisted for what calling her out, because she needed to do it.
“I want to use my platform to call Beyonce and the whole team that reached out to a lot of Nigerians; Nigerian artistes, producers, video directors, dancers, creatives.”
“I’m calling on Beyonce and her team the same way they used their platform to elevate and show the world that Black Is King and how beautiful Afrobeat and Africa and our culture is. Because the same country that birth this genre is on fire right now. Where these creative are from is on fire. So I’m calling on Beyonce and the whole team and telling them that you cannot ignore this, that you cannot be quiet. Because we all celebrated the Black Is King.” She said
