The Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Governor Samuel Ortom on Wednesday evening released a statement via his twitter handle, where he spoke against the Water resource bill that is being initiated by the house.
According to Governor Samuel Ortom, he revealed that there are more serious issues bothering Nigerians now than the Water Resources Bill that the presidency is relentlessly pushing. 
Governor Samuel Ortom however, noted that the Government of Benue state will continue to strongly reject the obnoxious National Water Resources Bill.
Quoting Governor Samuel Ortom, he said, “There are more serious issues bothering Nigerians now than the water resources Bill that the presidency is relentlessly pushing for. Why can’t the initiate bills seeking to end the killing of thousands of Nigerians in the country?”.
