Olugbon Of Orile-Igbon
In an interview conducted by the BBC the king of Orile-Igbon a place in Ogbomosho area of Oyo state talked about the spate of killings happening in the Yorubaland, and he concluded that there are more icons in the Yorubaland that can rise to defend their land apart from Sunday Igboho.
In that regards, what the king said is already happening as some unknown icons are risen to showcase their interest in the fight against the killer herdsmen, one of these Icons is Awise Ogboni from Ondo, OPC members from the Gani Adams faction.
Awise Of Ondo
In a current video that was shared on the internet, Awise Ogboni stood with the OPC leader and some other members, urging all the Yoruba youths to wake up from their slumber, that it is high time they faced the killer herdsmen that have infiltrated their land and killing their people.
He urges all the Yorubas not to be afraid, that the war has begun already that the OPC in the Yorubaland are ready to tackle it, he stated that they are already going to a certain place that the marauders are, but he won’t disclose the place because of the unknown treacherous perso

He also Reutersted that in fighting against their enemies all the OPC have united, be you from Gani Adams, Frederick Fasheun or others.
Anyone who watches the video here will know that these people are no longer risking the lives of their people again, and everything seemed the king who talks about the icons knew already that they are planning what we are seeing now.
Especially, as the President of the federal republic of Nigeria, President Muhammad buhari has given out an order that anyone seen carrying Ak47 rifles should be killed, I think that has symbolised the president interest in fighting against the marauders.
In conclusion, I wish to pass a message to the marauders that conniving to kill a fellow human is a crime that anyone should not be involved in, especially as the president has ordered the killing of anyone in the possession of guns; thus why can’t we have a change of mind when we already know that crime never pays.
