It has been disclosed that Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United are getting closer to agreeing a deal for the signing of Netherlands international, Tyrell Malacia. The 22-year-old left back plays for the Dutch giants, Feyenoord. It is believed that Manchester United and Feyenoord have reportedly agreed on £15.7 million.

If Manchester United succeed in signing Tyrell Malacia, it could present some problems for the likes of Luke Shaw and Alex Telles. If Manchester United signs Tyrell Malacia, it could mean a significant reduction of playing time for Alex Telles and Luke Shaw, especially if Tyrell Malacia impresses for Manchester United.

Naturally, one will easily see Luke Shaw as the main man when it comes to the left back position for Manchester United. However, with Luke Shaw’s repeated injury crisis, Alex Telles is next in line to replace him. If Tyrell Malacia joins Manchester United, Luke Shaw will have to improve on his fitness level so that he can stop encountering the numerous injury crisis that he has been encountering. On the part of Alex Telles, he would need to be a little bit more adventurous and avoid being too defensive cautious.
