Washington Mayor Joined Protesters in Protesting peacefully against police brutality and killing of African-Americans.
The campaign and Protest is as a result of the Killing of George Floyd by Police Officers in Minneapolis.
Washington DC mayor Muriel bowser who is also an African-American, was seen speaking to protesters that all gathered on the New “Black lives matter” plaza on racism and police brutality in Washington DC.
Mayor Muriel Bowser recently ordered that “Black Lives Matter” to be written in big yellow paint on a street that leads southward to White House.
It was just recently that Muriel bowser told President Donald Trump to withdraw all Out of city National guard deployed to the city.
“We should all be watching what’s happening in Washington DC because we don’t want the federal government to do this to any other Americans,” Bowser said while she walked through downtown DC with protesters.
Bowser said the additional units are “inflaming” and “adding to the grievances” of people protesting the death of George Floyd.
Muriel Bowser spokeswoman told CNN that no arrest was made on Friday night following the protest.
