Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku Taraba state, who is a trained architect, urban planner, university lecturer, and politician. Has received insult from Nigerians who blamed the governor for leaving the luscious landscape or Taraba state to play and organized a golf tourney in Desertlike Abuja golf course.
What has drawn the attention of Nigerians to the governor playing golf is because Taraba state is a state blessed with an enormous green landscape.
Taraba State is filled with undulating landscape, which is dotted with breathtaking mountainous features. Among these includes the Mambilla Plateau. There is a large expanse of tropical low forest vegetation in the southern part of the state and green grassland in the northern part of the state.
Why would a governor leave a state with so many potentials to build a world-class golf course, only to go to Abuja to organize a golf tourney in a desert-like golf course?
