The Government of Swaziland now Eswatini announced that the Prime Minister Ambrose Dlamini has died weeks after contracting Covid-19.
Ambrose Dlamini was pronounced dead in a hospital in South Africa. The 52-year-old prime minister was moved to South Africa for proper treatment after he contracted Covid-19.
Ambrose Dlamini who has been prime minister since 2018, announced that he had contracted coronavirus on the 16th of November but he was not showing symptoms.

On the 1st December, he was taken to South Africa for fast treatment.

On the 13th of December, he was pronounced dead in South Africa. The Eswatini Government did not state the cause of his death but at the time of his death, he was being treated for Covid-19 in South Africa.
