The Ogun State Police Order have caught five associated individuals with a feared clique bunch who were on a vengeance mission from Mushin, Lagos State.
Representative of the Order, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who affirmed the capture on Tuesday, said the body of a youngster was additionally recuperated from the suspects.
Oyeyemi said the suspects; Babatunde Shittu, 25, Ayobami Morenikeji, 15, Fidelis John 23, Abdullah Adegbenro 17, and Oyeyemi Bakare, 20, were captured following a misery call to Sango Territory Order Central command that a gathering of young men outfitted with cutlasses and other risky weapons were seen with a male body in a tricycle heading towards Ota.
After accepting the pain call, the Region Leader Sango-Ota ACP Monday Agbonnika, immediately prepared a watch group to the territory where the criminals were crushing property and burglarizing honest individuals along Ilo Awela Street. The Police group drew in the suspects, curbed them and captured five of them
On cross examination, the speculates advised the Police that they went to a social capacity in Mushin, Lagos, and on their way back, a battle resulted among them and all the while, one of them was wrecked by a quick moving vehicle and he passed on the spot.
They asserted that they were taking the cadaver to the groups of their aggressors specifically; Omo Ekun, Lampad, and Anko intentionally for a retribution mission.
