Stakeholders Rate Clem Agba High Amongst buhari’s Ministers
An Enugu based farmer and Businessman, Mr Kings Okafor has rated the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba as one of the best ministers in buhari’s cabinet.
According to the Enugu based big-time agro farmer, his meeting with the minister of state for budget and national planning at Enugu during an inspection tour of the construction of the 7.5km Aku-Lejja-Nsukka rural road project in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area was an eye-opener on the numerous road projects currently undertaken by the Federal Government.
He specifically thanked the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) for the laudable project. When completed the project is expected to ease the movement of farm produce from rural areas to urban centres.
In his statement of appreciation, the Enugu based agro-farmer applauded the patriotic zeal in which the Minister of State for budget and national planning, Prince Clem Agba has exhibited so far in the Budget and National Planning ministry.
“I have twice been fortunate to be among stakeholders to have witnessed the Hon Minister of State for budget and national planning, Prince Clem Agba meet with residents of host communities during project tours, the first event was at Imo State when the minister came to commission the 3.5km asphalted Umucheke Okigwe Rural road in Onuimo Local Government Area and the second time was some few days later when he met with host residents in Enugu during the supervision of the ongoing construction of 7.5km Aku-Lejja-Nsukka rural road project in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area.
I must sincerely commend the ministry of Agriculture for carrying out these laudable projects in providing market linkages for rural farmers, poor road infrastructure in rural communities does not only affect the production and distribution of food but it also negatively impacts the development of rural areas.
I must commend the minister of state, Prince Clem Agba for the way and manner he has brought renewed vigour in strengthening the Department of Monitoring and Evaluation in the Ministry.
His supervisory role, commitment to duty and interface with host committees have gone a long way in assuring Nigerians of the Federal Government’s commitment to improving the quality of lives of Nigerians.
What an enthusiastic minister we have, I personally rate Prince Clem Agba amongst buhari’s best hands.”
Prince Clem Agba has a couple of times received delegations from different host communities across the federation commending his characteristic role in monitoring and evaluating Federal Government projects.
Since assumption of office, the Minister of State has focused on national planning, early budget submission to the National Assembly and strengthening the Department of Monitoring and Evaluation in the Ministry in order to effectively drive the National Monitoring and Evaluation process.
