Sports: Reps Deputy Minority, Adekoya, to sponsor 5-year-old athlete’s education, gives N20,000 cash reward
The House of Representatives deputy minority leader, Aremo Adesegun Adekoya(attacker) announced that he will be sponsoring the Education of a young athlete, Doris Odeyemi to the Secondary School level after the 5-year-old came 17th position in the Attacker Marathon Race held today in Ijebu North.
Apart from promising to sponsor Doris Odeyemi’s Education to the Secondary School level, Aremo Segun Adekoya also promised to give the 5-year-old girl N20,000 cash reward for her effort.
Doris Odeyemi’s 9-year-old elder sister, Damalis Odeyemi also came 9th in the
female category of the Attacker Marathon Race that the two-term federal lawmaker and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member sponsored.
Not less than 300 participants took part in the Marathon race sponsored by the lawmaker representing Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside federal constituency in the National Assembly.

Apart from the 5-year-old and the 9-year-old Odeyemi’s that were part of the event, a a male deaf and dumb,one messrs Ogunde Adeleye came second in the male category of the race and got a cash reward of N100,000.
Winner of the Attacker Marathon race in both male and female category went home with a cash reward of N150,000 each while the first runners up and second runners up got N100,000 and N50,000 respectively in both categories.
