Winner of FIFA men footballer of the year award for this year, Robert Lewandowski speaks on what drives him daily not to give up after beating Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to the prestigious football award last night.
Robert Lewandowski and Luka Modric are the only two players to have won the Men’s FIFA award apart from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the last thirteen years. The duo of Ronaldo and Messi have won 11 of the last thirteen FIFA men’s footballer of the year award.

Robert Lewandowski scored 15 goals in the UEFA Champions League and another thirty-four goals for the Bayern Munich as the German giant won the UEFA Champions League and the German Bundesliga last season.
The Polish international was unplayable last season as he led Bayern Munich to another UEFA Champions League title win in Portugal.
Other winners in the FIFA awards are Cristine Sinclair. Sinclair was named the Women’s footballer of the year. Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp Klopp got the manager of the year award after leading Liverpool to their first EPL title in 30 years.

Klopp helped Liverpool to win their first English Premier League title in 30 years last season, the Reds also won the UEFA Champions League two seasons ago after winning it last in 2005.
