South Korea’s Law which is mandating people at the age of 18 – 28 years of age to serve in the military, exempts K-pop star BTS as the law says K-Pop stars who improve the country’s cultural status can postpone it until they are at the age of 30.
Although, the K-pop stars have confirmed that they will serve in the military as required by the South Korean law.

As part of the measures that were put in place to protect the country against external attack, South Korea passed a bill requiring strong Men at the age of 18 – 28 to serve in the military for up to 2 years.
The bill exemption is not only for BTS but also for other K-pop Artists, sportsmen and Athletes who have won multiple medals and awards.
