It Will End in Tears; Malema Fear As South African Schools Reopen
South African schools reopen amidst fear and doubt. The government of South Africa has relaxed the lockdown and allowing schools to reopen.
While many are skeptical of the preparedness of schools to manage the spread of the deadly COVID-19, some people seem to downplay the coronavirus fears as reactions have continued to trail the decision to open schools.
Popular South Africa political activist Julius Sello Malema and president of the Economic Freedom Fighters, has criticized the government’s decision to allow South African schools reopen.
According to him; “it will take a decade to fix the schools and get them ready.
The South Africa activist said; “It will take a decade to fix the school in South Africa, Remember these schools were designed for black people and therefore they did have many facilities.
Even when they said they are ready, the schools were never been ready, not even now in COVID-19, Because here you demand serious hygiene.”
“They were not to be call school because Prisons are much cleaner than schools, so they will never be ready especially now under CoVID-19.
A lot of schools don’t have a basin in the toilet, they use a common tap, which is either central point or far from the bathroom, and that what our children are going to be subjected to.
So these schools are going to create a serious problem for us and it will end in tears” He said.

The reaction of people to the government decision to allow South African schools reopen has continued to cast doubt on how feasible this would work out looking at the poor state of most schools, especially in black-dominated areas.
Some people who reacted to the government’s decision to allow South African schools reopen are saying, it is not that people are not afraid of Corona anymore, everyone is. But the point is everyone is tired of fighting now, they can’t be packed in their homes anymore.
There is more to each one of us and I think we all will come ahead of this virus. However, some schools have shown readiness to reopen while paying attention to strict adherence to safety measures.
