Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a brace today for Juventus in their Italian Serie A fixture away to Spezia after beating the deadly COVID-19 virus days ago.

Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive to COVID-19 after Portugal game in the UEFA Nations League against France in the last international break. The Portuguese talisman was unable to fixture for Juventus since then until today.

Ronaldo missed Juventus’ UEFA Champions League game against Barcelona at the Turin stadium as a result of his COVID-19 status but he is now back on the pitch.

The former Real Madrid forward scored two goals as the Serie A defending champion scored four goals against Spezia.

The five-time World footballer of the year returns to the pitch makes Juventus more dangerous in attack again.

Juventus is looking to retain the Italian Serie A for another year this season after winning it last season and also one of the favorites to win the UEFA Champions League this campaign.

If fit, Ronaldo will have a chance to play against his regular rival, Lionel Messi in the second leg of the Barcelona versus Juventus game at Camp Nou.

The Catalans, who are struggling in the league this year, won at Juventus last week in the Champions League by two-goal to nil with Ronaldo missing the game.
