See what soldiers are doing on farms days after Boko Haram massacred rice farmers in Borno.
A few days ago, dozens of rice farmers were massacred by a devilish terrorist organization, Boko Haram, in Zabarmari, Borno State. The devilish event sent shock waves through the entire nation.
The Nigerian Army was fitted with protection around the region days after the unfortunate incident. With fear of being killed or targeted by Boko Haram rebels, soldiers now accompany farmers to their farmland to harvest their crops.
The federal government said the farmers did not get permission from the Nigerian Army before accessing their farmland after the horrific incident. In order not to be targeted by terrorists, only the military can provide clearance on when to go to the farmlands.
