Nigerian actress Rosy Meurer has finally responded to trolls who are of the opinion that she snatched Tonto Dikeh’s ex-spouse, Churchill Olakunle. Meurer has been in the news ever since Monday when Churchill showed her to the whole world as his new wife on the event of her birthday.

A lot of Nigerians have been dragging her because she had previously denied having any relationship with Churchill other than that  he is her “brother and mentor”.

Moments ago, Rosy Meurer took to her instagram page to share a video where she maintained that she’s not responsible for anybody’s failed marriage. She also insisted that she never dated him before his divorce. In her words, “Mr Churchill’s failed marriage has nothing to do with me. The same way you guys read and heard online that I was the reason for his broken marriage was the same way I read and heard online that I was the reason for his broken marriage”.

“I did say that Mr Churchill was like a brother to me but he is not my blood. Mr Churchill has always been there for my family and I and it has always been that way”, she added.

According to Rosy Meurer, she never intended to leave Churchill alone when Tonto Dikeh left him and the marriage is  just the will of God that was meant to happen. She said they were meant to become life partners and that’s how God planned it for them.

Nigerian comedian Basketmouth’s wife Elsie, also reacted to the video made by Rosy. She questioned why she refers to her husband as ‘Mr Churchill’, asking implying that it’s either she is ashamed of her husband, or she’s ashamed of herself. Here’s what she wrote;

“Mr Churchill this, Mr Churchill that… Aunty say ‘my husband’ naaa, abi are you ashamed to call him that??????? Wahala just be like bicycle”

We doubt these people will let the lovers be but we sure hope Churchill will respond and protect his new love interest, Rosy Meurer  like a man.
