Revealed: The real reason why Spurs midfielder, Dele Alli will miss Manchester United clash

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli is set to miss Tottenham Hotspur clash against Manchester United when the English Premier League returns on the 17th of this month after the English Football Association places him on a match ban over a social media post.

The Spurs midfielder was said to have made the offensive post in February according to reports by the FA

The versatile midfielder was banned and fined heavily because of a post on snap chat mocking coronavirus outbreak.

Apart from the ban and the fine by the FA, Dele Alli will also have to complete a face-to-face education course following a breach of FA Rule E3 in relation to a social media post in February 2020.

Dele Alli and Spurs will most likely not be appealing the ban and the fined placed on the player.

Alli is an integral part of Tottenham Hotspur this season as they bid to secure a champions league spot.

Tottenham is currently fourth on the league table ahead of the 2019/2020 campaign restart.

Meanwhile, EPL is set to return, and only a one-person test negative to coronavirus in the last round of tests ahead of the league restart.
