President Muhmmadu buhari extends Apc caretaker committee tenure with six month. President Muhmmadu buhari has extended the tenure of the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led Caretaker and Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee by another six months.
The president announced this decision in a move meant to strengthen ongoing reconciliation efforts within the party.
President buhari said the committee has in the last six months succeeded in bringing a new atmosphere of hope to the party.
Thie decision comes as National Executive Council approved the expulsion of former National Vice Chairman of the party in the South-south, Hilliard Eta, for refusing to withdraw the court case instituted against the caretaker committee.
The APC NEC also dissolved all states, zonal, and National Party structures.
