President Nana Akufo-Addo has signed the United Nations Aids public letter on a people’s vaccine for the coronavirus with other world leaders earlier today.

The president disclosed this on his Twitter handle on Friday afternoon.

The public letter will make it possible for the general public to have access to the vaccine when it becomes available.

“Together with other global leaders, I signed the @UNAIDS Public Letter on a People’s Vaccine for #COVID19. It is important that all people everywhere must have access to the vaccine when one becomes available. It must be the #PeoplesVaccine” the president said on Twitter.

President Nana Akufo-Addo has been working tirelessly to curb the spread of the coronavirus in Ghana.

Many Ghanaians have commended the efforts of the president in the fight against the virus in the country.

Ghana has recorded 5530 positive cases of the virus with 24 deaths and 674 recoveries.
