Politics: The era of moneybag politicians in Ogun PDP is gone – Ogundele
The Ogun State chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Sikirulai Ogundele declare that the era of moneybag politicians dictating the affairs of the party in Ogun State is gone.
Sikirulai Ogundele made the comment while fielding questions from presenters on RockCity FM, Abeokuta today.
The PDP State chairman was a guest on Citizens Forum on RockCity FM where he spoke on the roles of “PDP As An Opposition” in Ogun State and what the party is doing to find its way back to power.
Ogundele revealed that PDP will field credible and popular candidates in all its future elections as its undergoing repositioning to become the darling of the majority of Nigerians once again.
“We are currently rebranding and repositioning PDP to find its place in the heart of many Nigerians once again.
Only credible candidates will vie for elective post unde our platform in future elections”, says Ogundele.
Speaking further, the PDP state chairman called on the youths to join the Peoples Democratic Party today to play their role in rescuing Nigeria from the ruling All Progressives Congress misgovernance.
PDP have not won the governorship election in Ogun State since 2011 but Ogundele has revealed that the party is doing its utmost best to return to power in 2023.
