Police Shot One Dead And Injured One During Gun Salutation Of A Richman In Ekiti State
The Nigerian police brutality that the Nigerian youths campaigned against is not subdued yet, instead, it keeps gaining ground daily.
On Saturday, 21st of November, 2020, the community of Ado-Ekiti bears it all, as police shot two youths at a hotel named Queens Court Hotel, Ado-Ekiti.
According to the source, it’s habitual conduct of the police to salute a certain rich man with sporadic shootings into the air when he comes to the aforementioned hotel.
Thus on the said date, the rich man was in the hotel when the policemen arrive, as usual, to salute him, in the process two youths that were sitting near the hotel were hit by bullets, killing one of the youth immediately while the order sustained serious injury.
The Culprit
Up till this moment, the policemen evade the scene alongside the rich man. The body of the dead youth and been deposited in an undisclosed hospital while the other is responding to treatment.
