Nigerian students across the country are currently protesting against the recent increase in pump price for petrol by the Federal Government.
The nationwide protest was coordinated under the umbrella of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
The students are also protesting against the increase in electricity tariffs and high cost of living in the country.
The protest is simultaneously going on in Osun, Ogun, Abuja and other states of the Federation.
The students described the current increase in stamp duty, electricity tariffs, and fuel price as punishment to Nigerians especially at this period when the coronavirus pandemic has disrupted the economy.
They urged President Muhammad buhari to put the masses interest at heart and reverse the petrol pump price and electricity tariffs.
