Ondo 2020: Mammoth Crowd Receive Governor Akeredolu in Ile Oluji LGA Despite Heavy Rainfall
The Campaign train of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu visited Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area on Thursday.
The people trooped in mass to receive their Governor despite the heavy downpour.
The large crowd defied rainfall, declared their support for Akeredolu’s reelection campaign. They were seen chanting 4+4 as they welcome the governor into the town.
While addressing the mammoth crowd, Governor Akeredolu thanked them for their support over the years, he said there are still a lot of amazing things he wants to do for Ile Oluji LGA if he returns as the governor for the second term.
He solicited for their support and urged them to come out in mass on October 10, 2020, and vote for the All Progressives Congress.
The Ondo State Governorship Election is coming up on October 10, Governor Akeredolu’s campaign train is getting more people on daily basis. The governor will be contesting with Eyitayo Jegede SAN of the People’s Democratic Party and his deputy, Agboola Ajayi of Zenith Labour Party.
In another news, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Ondo State burnt yesterday night, more than 5100 card readers meant for the upcoming election were destroyed in the inferno.
