Nigerian Airforce pilot, flight lieutenant Abayomi Dairo survive an aircraft crash due to an intense attack and ground fire on his Alpha Jet.

The incident happened On 18 July 2021, when the Nigerian Air Force Alpha Jet aircraft, was returning from a successful mission between the boundaries of Zamfara and Kaduna State.

According to Nigerian Airforce Spokesman, flight lieutenant Abayomi Dairo and the Air Force Alpha Jet he was flying crashed yesterday in Kuyambana Game reserve in Zamfara after coming under intense ground fire from a terror group locally known as bandits.

The gallant Pilot of the Alpha jet was able to eject out successfully, the Nigerian Airforce chief has commended the pilot for his gallantry and bravery.

The Nigerian Airforce has intensified its efforts in combating the insurgency and bandits in various parts of the country. The Airforce has continued to provide air support to the Nigeria troops.

Recently the Nigerian Airforce took delivery of 3 J-17 multirole fighter Jets from Pakistan and the Super Tucano A29 jet ordered from the US will arrive any time soon.

    Bandits and not terrorists are now more sorphisticated than the boko Haram and herders. But the north are still pampering them claiming that the bandits activities are business.
