Nigeria Embassies are Causing Hardship to Nigerians Abroad; Nigerians Laments
The failure of Nigeria embassies in various countries abroad to attend to the needs of Nigerians is causing untold hardship and suffering too many Nigerians in the Diaspora. This problem is calling for urgent government intervention.
Many Nigerians have taken to the social media space to lament the poor service provisions of Nigeria embassies. There have been complaints that officials these Nigeria embassies do not attend to complaints of Nigerians, emails are not replied too and calls are not answered. It has become a case of a camel through the eyes of the needle to have a passport renewed in any of these Nigeria embassies. It either there is a lack of paper, or the embassy’s officials are not responding. In the cases where you manage to get the attention of these officials, you have to pay through your nose to get anything done.
Embassy officials have become demigods; with unchecked powers, they come to the office and attending to the needs of Nigerians only at their own convenient time. Yet these Nigeria embassies officials are paid from the Nigeria taxpayer’s monies. The matter has become so serious that Nigerians now opt to travel back to Nigeria to have their passport renewed rather than have it done at Nigeria embassies in their country of residence.
An angry Nigerian man in Switzerland had lamented how he sent series of emails and put various calls through to the Nigeria embassy in Switzerland but got no response. He traveled for more than 2 hours to get to the embassy in Berne, yet he was not attended to. Nigerians, who reacted to the post on Twitter, complain of various mistreatments they are receiving from officials of Nigeria embassies overseas.
The truth is most Nigerians are heartless..but this is not buhari inside the embassy, buhari us not only the problem of Nigeria we Nigerians are the major problems to the country

We are also suffering the same fate in the US 🇺🇸. It is so bad that I’ve decided I’m gonna be traveling to Nigeria with my expired passport, and renew it when I arrive Nigeria. It is very easy to renew in Nigeria.

Same thing is happening in Berlin. Always complaining of “no paper”. My passport expired this January but I’ve been making efforts to renew since then. They booked me for February 1, postponed it to March. Now they said if you want your passport on the day of capture, pay 130€

Nigerian govt workers are one of the most wicked people in the World.
When you go to the Local government for an ordinary Local Government Identification Letter, they won’t attend to you until you grease their hands.
It’s so sad they carried the behaviour to Obodo Oyibo

Some of you are laughing at this matter.
Until u travel and feel how Nigeria will still frustrate your life even outside Nigeria.Down here in Nigeria they complain of no passport and you expect passport to be in Berne.
