The LPG storage facility which would be commissioned and launched tomorrow would save Nigeria about N28bn yearly, previously used in the importation of cooking gas. The plant which will be launched tomorrow, would cut 260,000 metric tonnes of LPG imports from the USA, and create a lot of jobs for Nigerians.

Nigeria is already producing about 5 million metric tonnes of LPG, 90% of which is exported because of lack of storage facilities like this, such as LPG Jetties and other relevant infrastructure.

This massive new LPG storage facility Is one among the many Federal Government interventions to make the crude product available to Nigerians
