New Kim, Popular Belgian racing Pigeon has made its owners wealthy after it was bought for €1.9m. whereas, it was put up for sale at €200.
New Kim was Auctioned for €200 but was bought by a bidder from China at €1.9m.
According to Reuters News Agency, the owners said they were surprised when they heard the news.
She has retired since 2018 when she won the national middle distance race.
Armando (Male) Nicknamed “Lewis Hamilton of pigeons” used to be the most expensive racing Pigeon after it was sold at €1.25m before New Kim (female) snatched the title.
The Auction house CEO Niklas Gyselbrecht told Reuters News Agency how shocked he was because, Male are always more expensive than female because they produce more offspring.
Belgium is full of Pigeon Enthusiast with over 100,000 people breeding Pigeons.
