Nearly 300 School Girls At GGSS Jangebe Zamfara are Believe to Be Abducted
News coming in this morning from Zamfara said that more than 300 school girls at GGSS Jangebe in Zamfara state are believed to have been abducted by gunmen in the early hours of today.
According to information reaching us, the gunmen invaded the all-female secondary in the early hours of Friday and abducted the girls. Some family members and teachers of the students have confirmed the incident.
However, the Zamfara state police and the government have not issued any statement about the abduction of the female students of GGSS Jangebe.
The rising cases of kidnapping and abduction in the north are reaching a record high. The activities of criminal elements and bandits have made schools no longer safe.
Just recently several students were abducted at GSS Kagara Niger state with efforts still underway to rescue the Kagara Secondary School students and their teachers abducted by gunmen in Niger State.
The news of the abduction of nearly 300 female students at GGSS Jangebe in Zamfara state is the latest case of a mass abduction in the country which has become a norm.
