Hope on job permanency seems to be on the horizon for Npower volunteers. This is coming on the heels of the recent announcement on the N-power Twitter portal.

The National Social Investment Program (NSIP) In conjunction with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is looking to engage N-agro volunteers in the following areas.

To employ and utilized N-Agro volunteers in the data enumeration of farmers across Nigeria, the decimation of Seeds, and distribution of Fertilizers to two million farmers across the 774 local government in Nigeria.

All volunteers under the Agro program of the scheme are expected to fill the form. This point to job permanency which volunteers of the N-power program has been clamoring for.

The N-power program is an initiative of President Muhammed buhari administration under the National Social Investment Scheme to help reduce unemployment among teeming Nigerian youths.

The program started in 2016, have suffered some major setback since the movement of the program from the office of the Vice-president to the newly created Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management.

The Minister has reportedly reiterated that the N-Power program would be gradually wind up before the year runs out. Volunteers have been clamoring for job permanency, as that was the promise made at the beginning of the program.

The new initiative by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development might be pointing to the direction of permanent jobs for N-power volunteers.
