Good news to all as MTN adjust data prices and rate. MTN telephone Network have adjusted their data subscription prices and rate in a move tagged
“MORE DATA MORE INTERNET”
The adjustment was announced on Monday 8th of February, 2021, through their official Facebook handle, this came after the Nigeria telecommunication regulatory body ordered for the immediate reduction in the price of data subscription across all mobile network services providers.
MTN, like most other networks offers daily data plans and weekly data plans in addition to the standard monthly subscription. The cheapest monthly plans still remains flat N1000 for 1.5GB and N1,200 for 2GB which used to offer 1GB for N1,000 now offers 1.5GB at the same price.
MTN telephone Network have adjusted three major data plan for the comfort of their end users.
N1,500 which gives 3.5GB now gives subscribers 6GB.
While, N3,000 that gives subscribers 8GB now gives 10GB.
While 5,000 data plan which previously gives subscribers 15GB now gives 20GB.
MTN currently charges 5 kobo for pay as you go browsing. Browsing on pay as you go is expensive for most users.
Economically, it’s advisable to choose a data plan of ones choice.
