Money Laundering: My Mother Was Added To A PR firm Board Directors list Wthout her knowledge -Ezekwesili’s son
Obiageli Ezekwesili’s son, Chuba Ezekwesili alleged that her mother’s name was added to a PR firm list board directors without her consent. Chuba Ezekwesili took to his Twitter handle to deny her mother’s involvement in a PR company that was fingered in a recent image cleaning for Alex Saab.
“Turns out someone can list you as a director of a company without your knowledge or consent. Lol.
How far @cacnigeria1? How are you letting people use the names of high profile individuals fraudulently and without due diligence?” Says Chuba Ezekwesili in a viral tweet.
Obiageli Ezekwesili is listed as one of the board directors in Alpha Reach PR company which is reportedly own by Japhet Omojuwa according to a revelation by Buzznews yesterday.
The former Minister and convener of Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) is yet to react to the news that she is a board director in the PR company alongside Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State and others.
According to Buzznews, Alpha Reach PR collected a PR gig from people who are close to Alex Saab, a detained Venezuelan in Cape Verde over money laundering case so as to pressure the authority to free him through social media publicity.
The social media publicity led to the suspension of hundreds of Twitter users handle in Nigeria and other African countries.
Despite the allegation, Obiageli Ezekwesili’s son have denied his mother involvement in the Alpha Reach company.
