FIFA bans CAF President Ahmad for corruption and misappropriation of funds.
Ahmad Ahmad who happens to be the president of the Confederation of African Football has been banned for five years by the Federation International Football Association (FIFA).
The former CAF President, Ahmad Ahmad, has lost his position and job as the CAF PRESIDENT.
The ban came in after the allegations of his involvement in corruption. A five-year ban has been issued by FIFA on Monday, 23rd of November, 2020.
The adjudicatory chamber of the independent Ethics Committee has banned Ahmad Ahmad for breaches of duty, offering and accepting gifts and other benefits, abuse of position and misappropriation of funds.
CAF, are yet to respond to the shocking news.
Although, the next election of the new CAF PRESIDENT has been scheduled for 12th of March, 2021.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Ahmad has been in the position of the Confederation of Africa Football since March 2017 as the President and was also standing for a re-election in 2021 before his suspension and ban.
