There are various rumours concerning the death of the Former Oyo state Governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
Earlier in the month of June, news were circulating around concerning the former governor of Oyo state. According to the news, the former governor was reportedly sick with speculations ragging about him suffering from Coronavirus.
Today which is 18th day of june, it was reported that The Oyo State former Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has been reported to have died at a yet to be reviewed hospital after a brief illness in the country.
The news circulated that the former governor died in a yet to be known hospital in Lagos. It was alleged that he died as a result of coronavirus although it is yet to be confirmed.
According to the rumours, the former governor’s death was confirmed to The Guild by a close source from the Oyo state Government and that Ajimobi has died about 35 minutes ago.
The news have however been confirmed to be false as top aides have out rightly debunk the story.
John, the media aide to Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Bolaji Tunji, has debunked the news of his death as untrue. Kemi Olunloyo also claimed she spoke with members of Ajimobi’s family around 9.15pm and they confirmed to her that the former governor is still very much alive. So the news should be disregarded as mere rumour.
