Inspector-General Of Police Adamu Order Police To Restore Normalcy
Inspector-General of police Adamu has ordered that the spite of violence and anarchy currently happening across the country should be brought under control.
Inspector-General of police Adamu made the order today as he called on various AIG’s, CPs, PMF, CTU, and SPU commanders to restore normalcy to the state where peace has been destabilized.
Across the country, there has been a breakdown of peace and order following a nationwide protest that started as a call for SARS disbandment and police reform.
What started as a peaceful protest has later transited into a breakdown of law and order, with looting, destruction of public properties, and killing becoming the order of the day.
Inspector-General of police Adamu in a public statement has issued an order for the police force to mobilization all police operational assets and restore order in various states where there is a breakdown of order.

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP M.A Adamu, NPM, mni has ordered the immediate mobilization of all police operational assets and resources to bring an end to the wanton violence, killings, looting and destruction of public and private property, and reclaim the public space from criminal elements masquerading as protesters in some parts of the country.
Inspector-General Of Police Adamu gave the order to all Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs), Commissioners of Police (CPs), Heads of Police Operational Units, Squadron and Base Commanders in charge of Zonal/State/FCT Commands, the Police Mobile Force, Counter Terrorism Unit and the Special Protection Unit, today 24th October 2020. Besides, CPs/Heads of Police Formations in the various states have also been charged to mobilize their men and work in sync with the Command CPs in the areas where they are domiciled, to dominate the public space and ensure peace and safety in the affected areas.
Inspector-General Of Police Adamu has also called on Law-abiding citizens to assist the police in fishing out the perpetrators of crimes in the country.
