President Muhammadu buhari appoints another northerner as the new Inspector General of Police today to replace Mohammed Adamu.
President Muhammadu buhari announced the appointment of Deputy Inspector General of Police Usman Alkali Baba as the new acting inspector-general of police.
The announcement of the new police chief was made by the Minister of Police Affairs Maigari Dingyadi. Alkali Baba was a former head of the CID in Abuja until his appointment today as the new acting Inspector-General of Police.
