Immense Boost for Amotekun as Makinde Gives 396 Motorcycles, 33 Vehicles to Oyo State Command.
Oyo State Government under the authority of Governor Seyi Makinde has given 396 cruisers and 33 operational vehicles to Amotekun Security Command in the state.
The governor made this known to people in general through his Twitter handle on Tuesday night. Governor Makinde said he will keep on supporting Amotekun to make sure about all aspects of Oyo State.
He stated: “Today, we gave more than 33 extra operational vehicles and 396 bikes to the Oyo State Amotekun Corps. 351 bikes are for each ward in Oyo State, while 45 cruisers go to the base camp. We will keep on supporting Amotekun to make sure about all aspects of our state.”
Simply a week ago, the Governor gave 25 operational vehicles to the Oyo State Police Command to improve the security circumstance of Oyo State.
The new vehicles and cruisers will support the resolve of the Amotekun Officers in Oyo State.
The security outfit was set up recently by Southwest Governors’ Forum with the sole point of ensuring the district against hijackers, outlaws, and other criminal components..
Many have contended that the security unit won’t keep going for long due to the absence of legitimate financing by the state lead representatives. Oyo State Government has been doing admirably for the Amotekun in the state.
