GTB Makes Approximately N521 Million Daily; See What Other Banks Make
Statistics from a Nigeria data analysis company StatiSense shows that guaranty Trust bank is among the top bank in the country that make huge profits from its services.
According to the data showed, in the last 9 months GTB made approximately N521 Million daily from its banking operations and other services. The figure totalling the profit made by GTB after Tax put the total profit made by the bank at ₦142.28bn in 9months.
A breakdown of the data shows that the new generation bank GTB is making approximately about N21.7m per hour, N361,944 per min, and about N6,032 per sec.

Other banks which daily profit margin was shown by the data include Union Bank, Wema Bank, Access Bank, and Sterling bank.
Access Bank profit after tax is approximated at ₦102.30bn in 9 months, and N374.7m daily. Union bank made a profit after tax of approximately N15.069bn in 9 Months, showing the bank made about N55.2m daily.
Sterling Bank earned ₦7.37bn in 9 months after tax and approximately N27m daily, while Wema Bank made approximately ₦4.09bn in 9 months and N15m per day.
The data shows that Nigerian banks are making urge profit returns on services rendered. Banks have moved from just being lending institutions to providing service which was formerly out of their purpose.
With the growing need of consumers to get fast, seamless financial related services, this has helped widen the scope of services of the banking institutions. Banks now provide services as little as airtime sells.
GTB’s approximately profit after tax of ₦142.28bn in 9months shows the new generation bank is not leaving any stone unturned in its quest to expand its arrays of services.
