This development came as a surprise to everything in Anambra.
Governor Obiano stated this in a broadcast on Saturday evening.
Earlier on, there has been restrictions and it was a total lockdown in the state which was a measure to prevent the spread of the deadly Coronavirus. This is a good news to everyone, and churches can resume full activities.
However, there are regulations to the relaxed lockdown.

He stated the protocols for services, which includes: Worshipers must;

  • Wear Face Mask
  • Wash Hands
  • Avoid Hand Shake
  • Application of Hand Sanitizers
  • Social Distancing

Worshipers must follow the WHO guidelines.
The governor added that movement around the state wee not restricted, however, all boundaries in the state remained closed.
The Governor also said he will meet with the market leaders on Monday, 27th of April.
Discussion on the methodological approach to school opening is also been considered, and he concluded with when civil servants will be allowed to resume work will be announced soon.
All food and drugs markets in the state are to open with immediate effect, he said.
