The Batch A and Batch members of the Npower Scheme who were exited from the programme in June and July 2020 have reasons to smile.

The Federal Government through the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development; Sadiya Umar Farouq has announced the launch of a portal that can allow the Exited Npower Beneficiaries to apply for Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN empowerment options.

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development; Sadiya Umar Farouq in a statement released through the Special Assistant to the Minister Nneka Anibeze, said the. Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria develop a portal that would allow exited Npower beneficiaries to apply for various economic, empowerment, and entrepreneurship intervention options provided by the CBN.

The Minister has urged exited Npower Batch A and Batch B  members to log into the NEXIT website and register for the various economic intervention programmes available. The Minister said the Muhammadu buhari led administration is determined to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in the next 10 years.

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development; Sadiya Umar Farouq, also expressed her deep appreciation to the governor of the Central Bank Mr. Godwin Emefiele for constantly supporting the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development towards helping to achieve the President committeeman to lift Nigerians out of poverty.

This is welcoming news for NPower Batch A and Batch B beneficiaries who have been made redundant since their exit from the Npower programme earlier in the year.
