Ghanaian President's Apology to buhari over the phone ghanaian president's apology to nigerian government, 2 lessons we learnt - buh 257x300 - Ghanaian President’s Apology To Nigerian Government, 2 Lessons We Learnt

You would recall that when Nigeria’s minister of foreign affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama announced the demolition of some buildings on Nigeria’s diplomatic building in Ghana, many Nigerians were angry an expressed their disappointment in the administration. Most especially, they aired their disappointment on the government’s continued silence on salient issues. However, in light of the most recent attack on Nigerian High Commission in Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, the president of Ghana has apologised to the President, Muhammadu buhari on Tuesday. He rendered the apology through a phone call.

Akufo-Ado in a phone call informed buhari that he had directed a full investigation of the unfortunate incident.

He hinted that some suspects had been arrested and will be arraigned in court.

Ghanaian President’s Apology all points to the fact that;

1. Nigeria remains the giant of Africa, and if only its leaders will rise up to the occassion, our sovereignty will never be challenged again as has been the case in recent past when countries have been emboldened to perpetrate evil against Nigerians and their businesses on their soil.

2. The present administration knows what to do and how to do it when they want answers. We can only hope that they channel this same decisiveness to end banditry, and the rising crime cases across the nation.

Meanwhile, the ministry has called on Nigerians to remain calm “despite the highly provocative attack on the High Commission of Nigeria in Accra, Ghana, and to reassure Nigerians that the FG continues to engage the Ghanaian at the highest level over the matter.
