Football: Spotify owner announces his readiness to buy boyhood club, Arsenal
Succesful Swedish entrepreneur and Spotify founder, Daniel Ek announced that he is ready to purchase Arsenal if Stan Kroenke is willing to sell his stake at the North London Club.
Daniel Ek took to his social media handle to revealed that he is ready to invest on Arsenal following the fans relentless call for Stan Kroenke to quit the club due to a run of poor result.
The Swedish entrepreneur whose is reportedly worth $4.3b is the founder of one of the largest music streaming platform in the world.
“As a kid growing up, I’ve cheered for @Arsenal as long as I can remember. If KSE would like to sell Arsenal I’d be happy to throw my hat in the ring” says Daniel Ek.
Arsenal has been struggling since Stan Kroenke bought the North London team highest stake in 2018. The fans are now calling on the American to quit their club.
It is yet to be known whether Stan Kroenke will be willing to sell his stake to the Spotify founder despite the Swedish’s show of interest.
