Wolverhampton Wanderer has revealed that forward Raul Jimenez’s had successful surgery in London after sustaining a head injury against Arsenal in their last night English Premier League fixture.

Jimenez, who sustained serious head injury after colliding with Arsenal defender David Luiz during the game against the North Londoners at the Emirates Stadium.

“Raul is comfortable following an operation last night, which he underwent in a London hospital.

“He has since seen his partner Daniela and is now resting. He will remain under observation for a few days while he begins his recovery” reads a statement from Wolverhampton wanderer on the Mexican’s injury update.

Despite Jimenez’s injury, Wolves went on to win the game by two-one against the struggling FA Cup current holder.

Daniel Prodence and Pedro Neto scored for the visitors in the first-half while Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhaes scored the only goal for Arsenal.

Gabriel Magalhaes scored his second goal for Arsenal in the game as Arsenal succumb to another English Premier League defeat and just a single draw and two defeats in their last three EPL fixtures.

Mikel Arteta side is currently fourteenth on the English Premier League table after ten games. They are seeing their worst form to the start of a Premier League season in recent times.
