Five more Kaduna students who had been kidnapped have been released.
Five more students from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in Afaka, Kaduna State, have been released from captivity.
This comes just 72 hours after the first group of five students, abducted from their school in the state’s Igabi Local Government Area on March 11, were released by bandits.
Ahmed Rufai, Personal Assistant to the Provost of the College, confirmed this to Channels Television, saying that four males and a female student were released around 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 8.
Three of the released male students are brothers from the same parents, according to Rufai, but he did not specify if a ransom was paid before the students were released.
