Former Minister for Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the rumor that he is planning to dump the People’s Democratic Party for the All Progressive Congress.
After the picture of his meeting with Governors Mai Buni and Yaya Bello revealed on social media, it was rumoured that the PDP loyalist is trying to decamp to the ruling party.
According to The PUNCH report, Fani Kayode and four PDP governor are trying to decamp to the APC because of their dissatisfaction in the way Governors Nyesom Wike and Aminu Tambuwal are running the affairs of the opposition party.
In a statement released on his Twitter handle on Tuesday morning, Femi Fani-Kayode said his meeting with the APC Governors is about the state of the nation, party politics and way forward. He said the meeting is to build bridge and find a way to stop the looming Civil War which is about to happen in the country.
Fani Kayode also said he is in talk with other political parties leaders about the state of the nation.
