On Saturday May 9 2020, Ethiopia admits shooting down Kenya Coronavirus aid aircraft in Somalia which led to the death of the 6 people onboard.

Ethiopian army protecting a camp in the town of Bardale in Somalia, admitted that they shot the aircraft on monday.

The aircraft had been carrying medical and humanitarian supplies to help fight Coronavirus before it went down in Bardale about 300km Northwest of somalia’s capital.

Ethiopia admits shooting down Kenya Coronavirus aid aircraft in Somalia, the aircraft was mistakenly shot by Ethiopian soldiers because they thought the plane was on a “potential suicide mission” because they were not informed about the strange flight and the aircraft was flying low.

The military said, “because of lack of communication and awareness, the aircraft was shot down”. “The incident will require mutual collaborative investigation team from Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya to understand the truth better”.
