EPL: Vardy Solitary goal makes the difference as Partey makes full home debut
Jamie Vardy, Leicester City forward scored his fifth goal and the only goal for Leicester as Arsenal tastes defeat at home in the English Premier League on Sunday evening.
The goal means Jamie Vardy is now the highest-scoring visiting player to the Emirates Stadium in the English Premier League breaking the record previously held by Harry Kane.
Vardy scored with 10 minutes left on the clock before the end of the match to end Thomas Partey a defeat in his first home debut after joining Arsenal from Athletico Madrid.
The defeat to Leicester City means Arsenal is yet to win a Premier League game in the EPL in their last two matches after losing to Manchester City at the Etihad in their last away game.
Leicester City, who finished above Mikel Arteta’s side in the English Premier League last season will be looking to qualify for European football last next season.
Arsenal is playing is the Europa League this season and they are looking to add the trophy to their silverware.
The North London team is struggling for winning in their last two games since center-back Rob Holding injury ahead of the Manchester City game.
