Sanwo-Olu reacts to the Candle Night held by #Endsars Protesters
The Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo Olu has reacted to the candle night held for the victims of SARS and police brutality across the country. Mr Governor says it calls for a sober reflection. A heart breaking view and he restated his assurance for the prosecution of all officers involved in the unrightful manslaughter.
The right of the citizen have been violated, maimed, and what not, by the SARS subunit of the Nigerian Police force and the youths are not showing a sign of backing down any moment as they soldiered on the #ENDSARS movement

I have seen powerful images and videos of the #CandleForSARSVictims vigils held across the country. It calls for very sober reflections.
Yesterday, the orderly room trial of the police officers involved in the surulere incident began.
Some of the victims attended and will testify before the panel next week. Justice will be served. Thank you to the team actively following up and helping victims.
There is so much more to be done and I will keep sharing the actions we are taking in line with my announcements.
