President Muhammadu buhari has appeal for calm and patience to protesters over the Endsars protest. The information came via the official Twitter handle of the President late Friday night.

President Muhammadu buhari has assured Nigerians that he has constantly been n touch with the IG of police and the Inspector General of Police has the president firm instruction to address the issue raised by the Endsars protesters and carry out a police reform

According to the tweet from president Muhammadu buhari official, Twitter handle it reads

I met again with the IGP tonight. Our determination to reform the police should never be in doubt. I am being briefed regularly on the reform efforts ongoing to end police brutality and unethical conduct and ensure that the Police are fully accountable to the people.

The IG already as my firm instruction to conclusively address the concerns of Nigerians regarding these excesses, & ensure erring personnel is brought to justice. I appeal for patience & calm, even as Nigerians freely exercise their right to peacefully make their views known.

The vast majority of men and women of the Nigeria Police Force are patriotic and committed to protecting the lives and livelihoods of Nigerians, and we will continue to support them to do their job.”

Nigerians are calling for the total disbandment of the Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARs) Unit which has become a monster. Nigerians all over the world are calling for the government to Endsars.
