A Nigerian boy in Oyo state selling snacks refuses to be payed by the #EndSars Protesters, explains why he refuses money
This little boy has proved himself as a hero for his sheer act of kindness. This boy was selling snacks in traffic in Ibadan, met the #EndSars protesters who bought snacks from him. While they offered him payment, the boy refused. No fire without smoke.
So why could he have refused payment? Of course, he must have a boss to deliver to. Or parents. His reply answer was communicated in Yoruba. He said “E ba wa se kin le lo ile we”
“Help us do it so I could be educated.”
The boy is simply saying if the youths could win the #Endsars protest battle and others, his parents would be bouyant enough to send him to school. I must say, I was moved to tears. This is one emotional word from such little boy. The fact that he knows that it is a fight for the upcoming generation and his own future? This is something worth of honour. This boy deserves everything.

The education of this lad is not the immediate concern of our govt. Millions of his likes are struggling on the street while others are in class. This kind of country, my children must never inherit. This is just the reason I advocate for a better country — that works for all.

If you don’t understand Yoruba , the young boy said “Do it for us so that I can go to school”.
This moved me close to tears. If a boy as young as this has no trust in the system and his heart desire is for we youth to continue this movement so as to make it possible for him (and many others) to be educated.
