Below are Nigerians reactions on Twitter to the channels tv organized Edo 2020 gubernatorial election debate.
Obaseki failed woefully. He could not justify the wasteful investment in Sobe farms, defend his three credits without English and mathematics. His was all rhetoric and baseless statistics. His government has made no impact on the Edo people.
It seems most of you here didn’t watch the debate, with what I saw, Obaseki fall hand ✋
I tell you. In all the debate, he didn’t point out what he can do to make the govt better if elected instead he was busy criticizing Obaseki. That was how buhari also criticized Jonathan’s govt then so we could vote him in & now we know better. Iyamu has nothing to offer.
I’ll score ize iyamu when he’s ready to tell us how’s he’s going to fund his simple agenda of about 500 billion naira.
For now, Obaseki has my 100%. If ize iyamu finally answers the question I’ll give him 5%.
OBASEKI won the Sunday governorship debate…
His response was accurate.
He provided answers on time.
There was no hate speech…
I think we will really recommend that did.
Ize-Iyamu was asked how he will fund the Simple Agenda and he started beating around the bush. That was when he lost the debate. He was busy attacking his opponent without marshaling out his plans and how his plans will be realized.
